Current Western lifestyles are often labelled unsustainable as all humans cannot consume resources and produce waste at this level as we currently do, without destroying the environments capacity to provide these resources to future generations. Indications of environmental stress due to human inability to halt consumptions at sustainable levels are evident as climate change, species extinction, desertification and fresh water scarcity become more and more obvious in our day-to-day lives. Human activity is putting immense strain on the natural functions of Earth that the ability of the planets ecosystems to sustain future generations can no longer be taken for granted.
The ‘Clean & Green’ system needs to live up to its name, then the car wash water recycling system installed must be cost effective, robust and reliable. This is accomplished by using the Project E ‘Domino Maxi’ recycle system.
The ‘Domino Maxi’ car wash water recycling system has taken proven truck wash recycling technology and adapted it to suit the requirements of the Car Wash industry. It has then been reworked to suit our ‘modular’ approach plant room structure and in particular our integrated approach to water use –
- Rain water collection from roof
- Storm water collection from driveways
- Recycling automatic and self serve bay water
- Using recycled water for all wash applications (other than the rinse cycles).
Our four pronged approach ensures water utilization is at its maximum, and hence operator savings are magnified over the life of the wash facility.
